Maintenance Worker

We are looking for an experienced general maintenance/groundsman to join our team at Marion Holiday Park. This is a Full Time position where the successful candidate will work shifts across a 7 day roster. Duties include minor plumbing repairs, building maintenance and grounds maintenance.

This role will appeal to someone who is hardworking and eager to utilise their skills. You will work in a small team environment, be self-motivated and able to work independently. 

You need to be someone who takes direction well and is capable of problem solving whilst needing to be also able to work unsupervised and at pace. There is a continual need to communicate with our office staff and our guests, as such the person we are looking for must have strong communication skills, customer service excellence, a positive can-do attitude, patience and responsibility.

 The Successful Applicant will possess:

Proven experience within trades and the general maintenance industry with the ability to complete daily assigned tasks essential.

An understanding of domestic electrical 

The ability to swiftly identify and evaluate day-to-day problems and the ability to correct them.

Have a sound knowledge and be competent in the use of basic hand and power tools.

Understanding of how to work in a safe manner and adhere to current WH&S legislation and guidelines.

You must have or can provide the following:

National Police Clearance – or ability to obtain police clearance

A current drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.

A strong work ethic, punctual and ability to work flexible hours when required. Contactable referees within last 12 months of employment

Physically fit

Salary $82,500 plus super with 5 weeks annual leave.
