Mining Performance Specialist

As we continue to expand our customer base, we're looking for a Mining Performance Specialist to join our Customer Success team and play a key role in delivering measurable outcomes for our mining clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Mining Performance Specialist, you will work directly with mining operations to analyse performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the successful adoption of RaptorTech's operational technology platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping site teams turn operational data into meaningful actions that improve performance and results.

Based in Perth, this role includes regular travel to mine sites across Australia. A willingness and enthusiasm to engage directly with customers in operational environments is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse mining, operational, and system performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support customer decision-making.

• Monitor operational performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve productivity, utilisation, and reliability.

• Facilitate customer workshops, training sessions, and performance review meetings with operators, supervisors, engineers, and site leadership teams.

• Support the deployment and optimisation of RaptorTech's technology platforms across customer sites.

• Investigate anomalies, performance issues, and operational challenges using data-driven problem-solving techniques.

• Act as a trusted partner to customers, understanding their operational objectives and providing practical solutions.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Project teams to enhance customer outcomes and product performance.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts where required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in operational performance, analytics, mining operations, operational excellence, or similar roles.

• Strong capability in data analysis and reporting tools including SQL, Python, Excel, and Business Intelligence platforms.

• Experience presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

DESIRABLE

• Experience within mining, resources, industrial operations, or technical services environments.

• Understanding of open-pit mining operations and operational performance metrics.

• Exposure to FIFO work environments.

• Experience in change management, operational excellence, or performance improvement programs.
