About the role
Western Health seeks an experienced Security Industry Professional who wishes to join a dynamic leadership team at the forefront of providing a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
We are seeking a passionate and committed Full Time Security Supervisor to join our current leadership team. The successful person will be responsible for delivering innovative, high quality security operations throughout our Western Health network.
Key responsibilities:
Provide an independent day-to-day supervision of security services staff to ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective service and the provision of a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.
Adopt a consultative communication approach to all dealings with security team and security leadership team
Facilitate repair and maintenance of security equipment and report on delays and potential risks
Ability to risk assess and provide a high level of decision making capability.
Provide an independent day-to-day supervision of security services staff to ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective service and the provision of a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.

Prepare rosters in line department staffing profiles including the replacement of staff on annual leave, sick leave, and Long Service Leave and for any other leave as applicable, including the validation and verification of shift numbers.
