About the position
We, SYDNEY HOIST AND SCAFFOLDING PTY LTD require a qualified and experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker / Electronic Technician in servicing and maintaining mechanical and electronic components of various sized machines. This person must be reliable and professional, with attention to detail and an excellent attitude to work.
Key skills and experience
We require someone who has/is:
Able to inspect, test, adjust & repair electric, electronic, & mechanical instruments
Able to Inspect meters, indicators & gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations
Test accuracy of various sized instruments to locate defective components
Able to Lubricate instruments & replace defective wiring & tubing
Able to diagnose malfunctions in machinery & equipment
Able to dismantle & re-assemble machinery
Read & Interpret technical specifications, electrical diagrams, plant schematics & job orders.
Analyse troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and/or assist other workers in solving these problems with the machinery.
Follow company WHS Procedures and relevant site safety requirements.
The Successful Applicant must:
Hold a relevant trade qualification.
Have three to five years of relevant industry experience.
Have experience servicing and repairing electrical, electronic and mechanical machinery.
Possess strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Be able to manage time effectively and prioritise competing tasks.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate a professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Hold a current Australian driver licence.
Be physically capable of performing the duties of the position and working on construction sites.
Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
