Forklift Operator & General Warehouse

Linhua Packaging Pty Ltd is a leading importer and distributor of packaging materials and forms part of a larger multinational organisation. Based in Mount Kuring-gai, our experienced and close-knit team is committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently looking for a motivated Team Member to join us and become an integral part of our warehouse operations.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for an initial 3-month period (38 hours per week). There is the potential for the contract to be extended or become an ongoing position, subject to business requirements and performance.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (Day Shift)

Location: Mount Kuring-gai, NSW, with convenient on-site parking. This role is ideally suited to candidates living on Sydney's Upper North Shore or the Central Coast.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Team Member with a current forklift licence to join our team. You'll be involved in a variety of warehouse activities including forklift operation, order picking and packing, container unloading, stock movements and general warehouse duties.

• Operate forklifts safely to move stock throughout the warehouse

• Load and unload trucks and shipping containers

• Receive, inspect and put away incoming goods

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch

• Label, wrap and palletise outgoing freight

• Assist with inventory movements and stock control

• Use handheld scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse

• Support the wider warehouse team with general duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Forklift Licence (essential)

• Previous warehouse experience

• Experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment

• Basic computer skills and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Experience using barcode scanners or handheld devices

• A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety

• Physical fitness, as the role involves regular manual handling and container unloading

• Reliable transport

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a small team

• Full-time hours with no weekend work

• Initial 3-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension or ongoing employment

• Stable day shift (7:00 am – 3:00 pm)
