Lobby Ambassador - Full Time

Swissôtel Sydney is a luxury five-star hotel located in the heart of Sydney’s business, retail and entertainment district.

Swissôtel Sydney is looking to welcome Lobby Ambassador (Full-time) to join our growing Front Office team. The Lobby Ambassador is the warm, welcoming face of Swissôtel Sydney, positioned in the Main Lobby to create a seamless and memorable arrival and departure experience for every guest. This role combines the personal touch of a host with the efficiency of front office service, ensuring guests feel recognised, valued, and cared for from the moment they step into the hotel.

The Role

• Meet and greet arriving and departing guests in the Hotel Main Lobby, delivering a genuine and personalised welcome

• Provide VIP support, ensuring high-profile and loyalty guests receive tailored, attentive service

• Conduct guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately

• Liaise closely with the Doorperson via intercom to acknowledge and prepare for guests arriving from the hotel entrance to the Lobby for check-in

• Deliver an exceptional, seamless arrival experience that reflects Swissôtel's brand of Swiss quality and warm hospitality

• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, information, and recommendations

• Maintain accurate guest records and follow hotel and brand service standards at all times

What we are looking for

• Genuine curiosity about guests, with a natural willingness to go above and beyond to create a memorable arrival experience

• Driven to engage and speak with guests proactively, rather than waiting to be approached

• Confident, warm, and polished communication style

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced lobby environment

• A team player who works well with Doorpersons, Concierge, and Front Office colleagues

• Previous experience in a guest-facing hospitality or luxury service role preferred

• Well-presented and professional demeanour, reflective of a five-star hotel environment

• Have full working right
