Senior Data Analyst

Our client is driving a major transformation of its Enterprise Data Environment,  moving from Azure Synapse EDW to a modern Snowflake platform. The migration activity is entering its final stages and we are now looking for a highly competent and experienced Senior Data Analyst who can bring clarity, structure and momentum to a complex data migration program.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity for someone highly capable in working through legacy EDW logic and developing accurate Source‑to‑Target Mapping at scale.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years experience in a Senior Data Analyst role working across Enterprise Data Warehouse migration programs.
• MUST have prior experience working on Migration to Snowflake, with a good level of technical knowledge.
• MUST have strong SQL experience and exposure to analysing complex Data Structures.
• Strong Data Modelling competency.
• Experienced in delivering Data Governance Analysis and Artefacts, with an emphasis on data quality issues, exceptions and remediation requirements.
• Strong skills in producing detailed Source‑to‑Target Mapping across Snowflake Raw, Cleanse and Consumption layers.
• Experience across supporting Tableau report migration, schema recreation and EDW decommissioning.
• Comfortable and experienced with Facilitating Workshops to clarify business rules, technical requirements and migration scope
• Maintaining traceability across requirements, migration objects, testing and deployment
• Comfortable with Supporting SIT, UAT and data validation, defect triage and hypercare activities.
• Preparing and present project updates for governance forums.
