About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our Finance Service Centre (FSC) team in Melbourne. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial services across corporate and client portfolios. If you enjoy ownership, stakeholder engagement and improving processes, this is a role where you can make a real impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesFunds Request Reporting and preparation of payment documentation
Reconciliation of reimbursement invoices
Revenue and expenditure payment runs
Processing batched bank payments
Preparation of financial reports including:
Expenditure & Revenue rent rolls
Expense reimbursement reports
Revenue disbursement reports
Bank account reconciliations for corporate and client accounts
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and DOA requirements
Driving process improvement, standardisation and reporting efficiency
Partnering with internal teams, outsourced providers and client stakeholders
You’re detail‑driven, organised and confident working with numbers, systems and stakeholders. You enjoy improving processes and can manage competing deadlines without losing accuracy.
Experience & SkillsExperience in Accounts Payable & Receivable and financial reporting
Background in a similar finance or property accounting role (highly desirable)
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capability
Experience working with outsourced service providers
Exposure to process ownership, change and continuous improvement
Tertiary qualification in Finance (desired but not essential)
Studying towards or completed CPA
Strong IT skills with advanced Excel
Experience with JDE (preferred)
High attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Strong problem‑solving and data interpretation skills
Ability to work independently and within virtual/remote teams
