The Opportunity   The Domain Country Club is nestled within 42 acres of landscaped gardens in leafy Ashmore, offering a resort-style retirement lifestyle just a short drive from Broadwater Parklands, Gold Coast University Hospital, and Nerang Train Station. At the heart of the community sits the newly transformed Clubhouse, home to a modern restaurant, bar and lounge, library, and gym, alongside a resort-style outdoor pool, spa, and BBQ area. As a highly motivated Chef, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to prepare and deliver high-quality meals to our residents. You'll be a great communicator, enjoy being hands-on with kitchen preparation and enjoy supporting residents' well-being. The residents are the heart of everything we do and the reason we come to work every day, their happiness is key to a successful overall operation, and we are looking for someone who values this as much as we do.   This is a permanent part time role working Monday and Thursday (10:00am-6:00pm)   What we offer   $31.36/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances    Great Work/Life Balance Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community   You Will   Provide restaurant-style kitchen and dining service Assist in the daily kitchen preparation and serving of meals Ensuring daily quality meal service to residents and visitors of the surrounding Aveo Community Daily monitoring of food safety plans and following all Food Services procedures    What you'll bring   Knowledge and/or experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings (e.g experience in food preparation)  Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (required) A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and chatting with residents! Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
