We take pride in maintaining high-quality housing across Perth, including rental and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties, ensuring each home is well-presented, functional, and tailored to individual needs.

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Housing & Maintenance Officer to manage both the acquisition and upkeep of properties across our portfolio. This role combines property sourcing, tenancy coordination, and hands-on maintenance to ensure our homes are safe, functional, and aligned with participant needs.
Key Responsibilities
Property Sourcing & Acquisition
Identify, assess, and secure suitable rental properties in line with participant needs and organisational growth
Source and liaise with SDA providers and developers to secure appropriate SDA housing opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, landlords, and housing providers
Support lease negotiations and onboarding of new properties
Property & Maintenance Management
Conduct routine inspections to ensure properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained
Complete general maintenance tasks (minor repairs, gardening, basic handyman work)
Coordinate external contractors and trades for repairs and upgrades
Ensure properties meet compliance, safety, and NDIS/SDA standards
Manage maintenance schedules and respond to urgent repair requests
Operations & Compliance
Support property setup, including furniture, appliances, and household items
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation
Monitor stock levels of household and maintenance supplies
Work closely with internal teams to match participants with suitable housing
About You
Experience in property, housing, facilities, or maintenance roles
Strong ability to source and secure rental properties (real estate or housing experience highly regarded)
Confident liaising with agents, landlords, and external stakeholders
Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Understanding of (or willingness to learn) NDIS and SDA requirements
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
Experience working with SDA or disability housing providers
Trade or handyman experience
Knowledge of tenancy processes and property compliance
