We are proud of the culture we have created and offer a flexible work environment, including some WFH days and quarterly RDO’s, that support a healthy work-life balance.THE ROLEWe are seeking an Irrigation Designer to join our growing Perth team.This role is ideally suited to someone with at least three years of professional irrigation design experience who is looking to further develop their consulting and technical skills while working on a diverse range of projects throughout Australia and overseas.The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, team focused and committed to delivering high-quality irrigation solutions. You will work alongside experienced consultants and designers while building your expertise across a wide range of irrigation and water management projects.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare high-quality irrigation designs and associated documentation, including specifications, detailed installation drawings and schedules of rates.Assist with hydraulic calculations, equipment selection and system analysis.Conduct site visits for investigations, field verification, flow and pressure testing and project planning.Develop and maintain technical knowledge of irrigation systems, products and industry best practice.Assist with tender and construction documentation.Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.Support project delivery across Perth, nationally and on selected international projects.Participate in practical completion inspections and reporting.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality management processes.Attend training and professional development opportunities as required.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrong AutoCAD skills.Experience using Land F/X and Irrigation F/X is highly regarded.Sound understanding of irrigation system design, hydraulics, pumps and pumping systems.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSMinimum 3 years of professional irrigation design experience.Demonstrated irrigation design experience across landscape, public open space, commercial or golf projects.High level of AutoCAD experience.Current driver's license.Full Australian working rights.HIGHLY REGARDEDCertified Irrigation Designer (CID) qualification or willingness to undertake training.Experience with Golf Irrigation Design.Experience with Land F/X and Irrigation F/X software.Join a passionate and supportive team where you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, continue your professional development and help shape the future of irrigation design throughout Australia and beyond.
