Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician at Klaus Multiparking ANZ in Melbourne, VIC. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining mechanical car parking solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring the optimal performance of parking structures.
QualificationsMechanical, Electrical, and Technical Troubleshooting skillsExperience in servicing and maintaining mechanical equipmentKnowledge of parking systems and automation technologyAttention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in a similar field is a plusCertification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Specific Requirements for Klaus Services:Availability and ability to be on-call every four to six weeks.Full Australian driver's license.Deliver precise solutions for technical issues.Handle customer complaints effectively and professionally.Willingness to travel interstate if required.Australian permanent resident or citizen status, or those with Australian visas that include work rights.Willingness to work long hours when required.A proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to work safely alone.Effective teamwork skills.
You May Also Have:Knowledge of SCADA and motor control systems.Basic knowledge of PLC and industrial equipment.Experience with the integration of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.Prior experience in a similar role.Ability to assess site requirements and conditions to coordinate resources efficiently.Competent computer skills.
Qualifications That Can Be Advantageous:Tertiary qualifications related to automation systems, electrical installations, mechanical installations, or hydraulic installations.Previous experience in a similar role.Restricted electrical licensing.
