Our client is a well-established organisation embarking on a confidential strategic project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in supporting a significant business initiative.

Position
We are seeking a Commercial Data Analyst to support a confidential strategic project on an initial 3-month contract. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll be responsible for extracting, collating, validating and organising data from multiple sources.

Profile
This role is suited to someone who enjoys enjoys working predominantly on Excel, thrives on bringing structure to complex and often imperfect datasets, and takes pride in producing high-quality information. You'll be naturally curious, highly organised and enjoy investigative problem solving.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Experience extracting, analysing, validating, consolidating and documenting data from multiple sources.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• The ability to identify data gaps, inconsistencies and anomalies, using sound judgement to improve data quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to interpret both financial and operational information.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
