Trade Assistant – Residential | Kalgoorlie, WA

DSP Mechanical is seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team in Kalgoorlie. This is a full-time residential position, suited to applicants who already live in Kalgoorlie or are willing to relocate. This is not a FIFO role.

Working alongside our experienced tradespeople, you'll support mechanical maintenance and repair work across a variety of sites while developing your skills in a safety-focused environment.

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will:

• Assist qualified tradespeople with mechanical maintenance and repairs.

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Complete general workshop duties and housekeeping.

• Load, unload and organise materials and equipment.

• Carry out manual handling and labouring tasks.

• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

• Work as part of a supportive and professional team.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.

• Forklift, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets are advantageous but not essential.

• The ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening required.
