Auto Electrician PNG

We’re seeking an highly experienced Auto Electrician – Mobile Maintenance to join a major mining operation in the Papua New Guinea Highlands. This is a unique opportunity to step beyond hands-on work and mentor, coach, and develop national technicians while working on a diverse mobile fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor PNG national technicians
• Provide technical guidance and maintenance QA
• Support diagnostics and complex fault finding
• Lead by example in safety and work standards
• Identify skill gaps and recurring issues
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement

About You

• Auto Electrical Trade Qualification – Minimum 10yrs post trade
• Extensive experience with heavy mobile mining equipment mandatory
• Strong mentoring or coaching capability
• High technical credibility
• Ability to influence without authority
• Calm, patient approach with a strong safety focus
• Australian or New Zealand Citizen/Resident
• Able to pass a medical and police clearance
• Current passport with minimum 2yrs expiry
