Senior Property Manager

We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to join McGrath Surry Hills - someone who knows their way around a portfolio, enjoys looking after people, and wants to work somewhere they can genuinely see themselves staying.

What the role looks like

You will take ownership of a portfolio, providing clear, proactive service to landlords and tenants from the start of a tenancy through to its conclusion.

You will be trusted to manage your day, make good decisions and communicate with confidence — while knowing you have a team around you when you need it.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio end to end (no leasing and no trust accounting)

• Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants and trades

• Conducting routine, entry and exit inspections

• Coordinating maintenance and keeping clients informed

• Managing arrears, lease renewals and tenancy matters

• Providing practical, timely advice and exceptional service

• Working closely with our leasing and administration support teams

You will be a great fit if you have

• At least 2 - 3 years’ residential property management experience

• A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence

• A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle

• Strong organisation and follow through

• A calm, solutions focused approach when things get busy

• Great communication skills and a natural ability to build trust

• Pride in doing the small things well - because they are rarely small to a client
