Be part of a brand new centre from day one

Evergreen Academy is opening a new early learning centre in Fawkner in late 2026, and we’re building the team now.

Joining a service before it opens is a rare thing in this sector. You won’t be stepping into someone else’s routines or someone else’s culture. You’ll help set up the rooms, settle the first families, and shape how this centre runs from the very first day.

Our approach is Reggio Emilia inspired, which means children lead the learning and educators are given room to be genuinely curious alongside them. If that’s the kind of practice you want to be doing, we should talk.

Roles we’re hiring for

• Centre Director

• Early Childhood Teachers (ECT)

• Room Leaders – Nursery, Toddlers and Kinder

• Diploma qualified Educators

• Certificate III qualified Educators

• Trainees working towards a Certificate III

• Centre Cook

Full-time and part-time positions are available across all roles. Tell us in your application which role you’re after and the hours that suit you.

What you’ll bring

• An ACECQA-approved qualification in early childhood education, or you’re actively working towards one (trainees welcome to apply)

• A current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)

• Current HLTAID012 first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certification, or a willingness to complete it before you start

• Availability Monday to Friday across our opening hours on a rotating roster

• The right to work in Australia

• For ECT roles, current VIT registration or eligibility to apply
