About Goodstart Altona

Convenient Location: Goodstart Altona is situated across from Altona Primary School and near Altona Train Station, with shops, cafes, banks, and a library within walking distance. Established Centre: Operating since 1991, our child care centre has a long history of providing quality care. Age Range: We cater to children aged six weeks to five years old, offering a safe and nurturing environment. Welcoming Environment: The centre features large play yards, creating a homely and warm atmosphere for exploration and play. Experienced Educators: Our dedicated team has longstanding relationships with children, enhancing their care and learning experience, and includes educators from diverse cultural backgrounds. Qualified Kindergarten Program: A fully qualified Kindergarten teacher leads a tailored learning program to prepare older children for school readiness. Family Communication: Effective communication with families is prioritized through daily face-to-face interactions, email updates, and displayed information in the foyer. Community Connections: We actively foster relationships with local schools and kindergartens while encouraging family involvement at the centre.

You’ll Need

Certificate III in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards Current Working with Children Check
