General Hand - Night Shift

About the role

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing team on night shift, suited to someone with experience in a factory, manufacturing or production environment who is looking for stable, ongoing work.

Key responsibilities

• Stacking and handling finished goods

• Wrapping and preparing pallets for storage or dispatch

• Operating a forklift to safely move materials and finished product

• Assisting machine operators with general production duties

• Receiving training on basic machine settings and adjustments to help ensure finished products meet quality requirements

• Conducting basic quality checks on finished products

• Keeping production and work areas clean and organised

• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

• Completing basic production paperwork as required

• Reporting any safety, quality or equipment issues to the Supervisor

About you

• A current forklift licence – essential

• Previous factory, manufacturing, production or general labouring experience

• The ability to safely undertake manual handling and stacking duties

• A willingness to learn basic machine operation and settings

• Good attention to detail and a focus on product quality

• Reliability, punctuality and consistent attendance

• The ability to follow instructions and work safely

• Availability to work night shift on an ongoing basis
