Job Description

Our service based in The Basin is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance with opportunities for extra hours during the school holidays. 
 

Shift times will be Monday - Friday 7:00-9:00 (Rise Then Shine) 3:00 – 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program). Along with an exciting Holiday Care program with shifts available from 7:00am - 6:00pm.

About the Role 

Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll help create a welcoming and enriching environment for children aged 5-12 years old. Your role will include: 

• Facilitating exciting, child-led activities, including STEM, sports, cooking, arts & crafts – whatever you and the kids love! 

• Building strong relationships with children, families, and the school community 

• Collaborating with a team of skilled Educators to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging program 

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For 

No formal experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need. We’re looking for someone who: 
✔️ Diploma qualified - approved by ACEQA
✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact 
✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently 
✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role 
✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check 
✔️ National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding
✔️ Has Australian work rights
