Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of engineered precast in the world. They are looking for highly motivated Riggers to join their Welshpool, WA site. You are responsible for setting up and operating rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment whilst in the construction phase of projects.
Our client is looking for expressions of interest for someone to start immediately, On Offer is: The Role: Operate rigging equipment, including cranes, hoists and pulleys Perform regular inspections on rigging equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose and in a safe working condition
You will work closely with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of lifting operations Transporting, Flipping concrete by using Gantry Crane Signal or verbally direct team engaged in lifting or moving tasks to ensure safety
Outdoor environmental exposure This is a mixed roll with a lot of variety, and you will assist other team members in all works being undertaken on site, not just rigging To apply you will need:
Previous experience as a Rigger. You will need to be safety conscious, physically fit and capable of completing manual tasks. White Card (essential)
Basic rigging ticket (essential) Valid drivers license and own transport (essential) Full working rights - (citizen or permanent resident) (essential)
Reliable and with high attention to detail Strong understanding of rigging techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work in challenging environments. Excellent signalling, oral and written communication skills
An attitude of "Safety First" backed up by solid experience delivering safe and reliable work Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical check which includes drug and alcohol screening
In Return: Ongoing work with shifts available at weekends also Opportunity for overtime and potential permanency
