Are you an experienced transport operator or allocator who knows how to keep trucks moving, drivers informed and customers updated?

Rogers Transport is looking for a capable and commercially minded Linehaul Operations Coordinator to take day-to-day ownership of our Eastern Seaboard linehaul operation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the realities of road transport. You’ll coordinate company drivers, source freight, allocate equipment, manage changing schedules and work closely with customers, workshops and internal operations teams.

You won’t be sitting on the sidelines—you’ll be a key part of the operation and trusted to make practical decisions.

• Coordinating daily Eastern Seaboard linehaul movements

• Allocating drivers, prime movers and trailers to scheduled work

• Booking and coordinating freight collections and deliveries

• Sourcing suitable return freight for Tautliners and Flat Top trailers

• Monitoring vehicle movements, delivery timeframes and driver progress

• Communicating with customers regarding bookings, schedules and delays

• Supervising and supporting linehaul drivers, including onboarding

• Working with the workshop to coordinate servicing, maintenance and repairs

• Managing operational changes and resolving issues as they arise

• Supporting compliance with NHVR fatigue, mass, maintenance and Chain of Responsibility requirements

• Ensuring the correct equipment is allocated to each task

• Maintaining accurate records and operational information

You will have practical experience in linehaul transport operations and a strong understanding of freight movements along the Eastern Seaboard.

You’ll also bring:

• Previous experience in linehaul operations, transport allocation or fleet coordination

• Experience managing interstate drivers and equipment

• Knowledge of Tautliner and Flat Top transport operations

• Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational skills

• Working knowledge of NHVR, fatigue management, mass requirements, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility

• Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

• Clear and professional communication with drivers, customers and internal teams

• Sound computer skills and experience using transport systems or fleet-management software

• A practical, accountable and customer-focused approach

• Dangerous Goods Knowledge would be advantageous

• Competitive salary of $100,000–$120,000 + super
