About the Role:As a Senior Accountant at Ashfords, you'll work with an exciting portfolio of clients, collaborate directly with Partners, and help lead a talented offshore team. Job Requirements
Requirements:CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)Strong experience in Australian tax and accounting for SMEs and private groups.Demonstrated experience working with offshore teams.Proven ability to review and compliance work (financial statements and tax returns).Excellent verbal and written Communication skillsProven ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior staff.
Job Responsibilities
Duties Include (but not limited to): Direct management of 2–4 offshore employees across compliance and advisory support work.Deliver end-to-end monthly and annual tax compliance and associated client activities.Monitors and maintains high levels of practice compliance, per legislative requirementsUpskill offshore staff in Australian tax compliance, accounting standards, and internal systems.Ensure compliance with Australian tax law, ATO guidance, and firm policies.Identify and mitigate risks in offshore-prepared work (e.g., Division 7A, trust distributions, GST, FBT).
