Registered Nurse

About the role

Plumpton Medical Centre is seeking for compassionate Registered Nurse on Casual, P/T and/or F/T permanent position.  Position vacant is also available to Graduate Nurse and RN 1.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting and assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care

• Tasks include wound dressings, vaccinations, care plans and health assessments, assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures, stock ordering and recalls and reminders

• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess, plan, and implement patient care

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia

• 12 months experience is preferred, but not essential
