Site Installation Coordinator – Contract

With more than four decades in the industry, Classic Architectural Group supplies and installs floor safety and carpark safety products, including bike racks, to the commercial building sector across Australia. We handle the full job: consultation, design, manufacture, supply and installation.

We need a Site Installation Coordinator to backfill this role based out of our Preston office on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll coordinate site installations from first contact through to sign-off, running multiple jobs at once and keeping every stakeholder in the loop.

You'll check that quoted products are fit for purpose and compliant, get out to sites to measure and check, then manage subcontractors and materials so each install lands on time, on budget, and to standard.

●        Contact new site customers within 24 hours to build rapport, confirm details, and book a site visit

●        Check substrates on site, confirm products are compliant and fit for purpose, and run Luminance Contrast testing where required

●        Conduct site measures

●        Set jobs out for manufacture, coordinating templates where needed

●        Book subcontractors and confirm product, fasteners and paperwork are ready ahead of each install date

●        Brief installers with full site information: plans, site contact, access and parking

●        Get photos and sign-off at completion, and follow up on defects within 2 days

●        Keep stock movements accurate: marked out, counted, labelled and put away

●       Commercial construction background with multi-site coordination/management experience

●        Hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

●        Solid knowledge of Australian standards, WHS requirements and commercial building methods

●        Confident people leader with excellent communication and the ability to coordinate subcontractors

●        Ability to read building plans and specifications

●        Carpentary background preferred

●        A practical, solutions-driven approach, and the confidence to have a tough but respectful conversation when needed
