We bring founders, operators, investors and industry leaders together through real conversations, not another networking night.
We're looking for 3 energetic, curious University students based in Sydney or Melbourne to join us as interns and get genuine hands-on experience building a growing events brand.
Internship DetailsDuration: 3.5 months, starting ASAPCommitment: 6-8 hours per week per roleLocation: Sydney or Melbourne (remote-friendly, with some flexibility around event attendance)Extension: Option to continue beyond the initial period if it's a strong fit for both parties
Role 1: WhatsApp Engagement InternYou'll work directly with the Founder to build and manage LiveHaus's WhatsApp community strategy across our different Hauses.
Responsibilities:Develop a clear strategy for managing WhatsApp communicationsCreate engaging, creative conversation starters across our various community verticalsResearch and share relevant industry trends to keep discussions rich and valuableIdentify and add high-quality new members to the community each weekMonitor and remove spam, stalkers or irrelevant promotional content
Goal: build a genuinely valuable, non-spammy WhatsApp community that becomes a real discussion forum for Australia's startup, tech and business ecosystem.
Role 2: Marketing InternYou'll be our go-to across all pre-event marketing activity, from strategy through to execution.
Responsibilities:Develop and manage a schedule for event promotion via email, LinkedIn and mobile outreachDraft creative, high-converting email and messaging campaignsMaintain accurate, up-to-date subscriber lists across platformsEnsure speakers receive updated event materials and designsManage speaker communications and Q&A before and during eventsCreativity and strong attention to detail are essential for this role.
Goal: run marketing campaigns that increase event sign-ups without feeling spammy to our community.
Role 3: Partner & Speaker Growth InternYou'll help build LiveHaus's pipeline of high-quality speakers and partners across our event verticals.
Responsibilities:Identify, qualify and convert speakers and partners aligned with LiveHaus's growthSource high-quality speakers using existing platforms and proven outreach methodsBuild strong knowledge of partner types across different industry verticalsDevelop relationships with keynote speakers and partner organisations
Goal: create a solid, ongoing pipeline of speakers and partners for LiveHaus to build on over the coming months.
