Commission-Only Freight Sales Agent / Lead Generator (National Wharf & Rail)

About the role;

We are seeking hungry, motivated logistics sales professionals or established independent freight brokers to expand our national client portfolio.

Whilst we are seeking more experienced candidates, we are more focused on hunger in these early stages, so junior applicants are also very welcome!

Your sole focus will be to open doors, introduce our brokerage capabilities, secure the client's container volumes or simply individual shipments, and win the account. Once the client is onboarded, our dedicated in-house operations team takes over 100% of the daily bookings, carrier negotiations, 1-Stop slot management, container tracking, and invoicing.

You simply hunt, close, and collect your monthly residual split.

Key responsibilities;

• Conduct cold outreach and leverage warm networks to target mid-to-high volume importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and industrial shippers.

• Identify high-volume/value lanes (Wharf-to-Door, Rail Terminal-to-DC, Project Logistics + OOG cargo) and gather customer shipping profiles.

• Collaborate with our internal team to issue competitive rate matrices.

• Onboard new accounts through our standard credit application process.

About you;

• Proven sales experience within Australian transport, shipping lines, freight forwarding, or container logistics.

• An active ABN and an independent workspace (laptop, phone, reliable internet).

• A strong understanding of container transport metrics (TEU volume, wharf cartage, interstate rail lanes).

• Self-motivated individuals who thrive under an autonomous, uncapped commission framework.
