We are now seeking passionate and talented Chefs of all levels to join the kitchen team of an exciting new British Pub concept , pre opening mid september!.

Whether you're an experienced Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, a motivated Junior Sous Chef, an established Sous Chef, or an emerging kitchen leader looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary Range: $69,000 - $80,000 + Superannuation (based on experience and position)

About the Role

As part of our opening kitchen team, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced hospitality professionals while helping shape a venue that will become a destination for great food and outstanding service.

You'll contribute to delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality food to company standards.

• Maintain consistency across all menu items and service periods.

• Support daily kitchen operations and service.

• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.

• Work collaboratively within a high-performing kitchen team.

• Support training and development of junior team members.

• Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.

• Passion for cooking and hospitality.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Positive attitude and team-focused approach.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.

• Pride in delivering quality and consistency.

Highly Desirable

• Experience in premium pub, restaurant, or hospitality venues.

• Experience with British or Irish pub cuisine.

• Leadership experience or mentoring junior team members.

• Menu development and creative cooking skills.

• Experience working in newly opened venues.
