Purchasing & Inventory Officer

AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with ambitious plans for growth. Currently, we operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and have recently restarted operations at our Nullagine Gold Project.

Due to ongoing growth, we are now seeking two Purchasing & Inventory Officers to join our team in newly created positions, with one role based at each project.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and customer-focused Purchasing & Inventory Officer to join our team and take on a hands-on, autonomous role in a fast-paced mining environment.

Working a FIFO 15:13 roster, you will be responsible for duties across warehouse operations, inventory control, freight, purchasing and supply logistics.

Reporting to the Site Admin & Finance Manager, key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of warehouse processes

• Liaising with departments to understand and fulfil inventory requirements

• Supervising the resolution of inventory non-conformance issues

• Managing inbound and outbound freight to ensure timely, complete deliveries

• Coordinating warehouse workflow to meet operational demand

• Compiling reports and maintaining accurate records as required

• Overseeing waste management in accordance with EPA guidelines

• Ensuring safety standards in the warehouse and yard are maintained

• Managing stock levels via min/max control and procurement processes

• Expediting outstanding purchase orders

• Receiving and processing stock and non-stock items

• Managing dangerous goods in line with SDS procedures

To be successful in this role, you’ll possess:

• Current C class driver’s license

• PRONTO experience 

• Forklift ticket (to 30 tonne)

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheets

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity 

• Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously 

• Experience in a mining / service industry
