About the RoleJoin our Aged and Community Care team as a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist on a full-time (1 EFT), fixed-term basis until September 2027 (Parental Leave cover).
Working from the Kingston Centre in Heatherton, you'll support older people to maintain their independence, remain safely at home, and continue participating in the activities that matter most to them. This rewarding community-based role offers a diverse caseload, working directly with clients in their homes, in community settings and via telehealth.
Grade 1 Occupational Therapists looking to take the next step in their career are strongly encouraged to apply.
Working within a large and experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll use your clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to deliver person-centred, evidence-informed care that helps clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
In this role, you will:
The Aged and Community Care Program provides multidisciplinary services that support older people to remain living independently in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.
Our large, collaborative team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Exercise Physiologists, Community Health Nurses, Allied Health Assistants and more, all working together to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. We value collaboration, celebrate our successes and foster a supportive environment where clinicians are encouraged to grow and develop.
