About the role
The Role
Expressions of interest are invited from engaging and passionate teachers of Music who are: outstanding classroom teachers; knowledgeable in the curriculum area and in current pedagogical thinking; and committed to student care and well-being. The Kodaly method is used extensively in the curriculum.
The Classroom Music Teacher will teach Music at the Junior School Girls, Moonee Ponds campus and will assist in running after school music ensembles.
This is a 12 month full-time parental leave replacement position, commencing from Term 1, 2027.
You must be a qualified teacher with VIT registration, a current satisfactory criminal record check and be eligible to work in Australia to apply for this role.
Whilst this role is based primarily at the Junior School Girls Moonee Ponds campus, you may need to travel to other campuses on occasion and will need to have your own transport.
