Paradigm Radiology is seeking a Sonographer to work with us based at our centre located within a brand-new purpose-built medical precinct in Springvale South, VIC 3172, with opportunities for future development.

Flexibility

Technical ultrasound skills are important to the role, but your skills and attributes within an up-and-coming organisation are critical.

This position offers flexibility with full time/part time/contract and casual positions considered - we are committed to working together with to create an environment where collaboration is key to success.

Key responsibilities

·       Performing a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with your expert knowledge, this ideally would include abdominal, axial and appendicular skeleton, head and neck, obstetric, gynaecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies - having a combination of these skills would be advantageous.

·       Attention to detail in recording and documenting findings in a manner that supports accurate, rapid and confident reporting.

·       Strict adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines as well as relevant legislation.

·       Exceptional communication in line with Paradigm Radiology expectations and guidelines; this includes with patients and their carers/loved ones, clinicians and referring partners, colleagues and other healthcare team members to facilitate a positive experience for all stakeholders.

·       Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with medical imaging standards and quality assurance protocols.

·       Creating and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment for all people.

About you

·       ASAR registration (AHPRA registration would be an advantage, but not a requirement).

·       Reliability, attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality diagnostic sonography examinations.

·       Physical capability to perform the duties of the role.

·       Working with Children Check will be required as well as relevant certifications where relevant.

·       Excited and comfortable to work in a dynamic organisation; including robust decision-making skills (individual and collaborative).
