Contracts Administrator – Zinfra Gas Services

We're looking for a highly organised and collaborative Contracts Administrator to join our Gas Services Commercial team.

Reporting to the Zinfra Gas Services Commercial Manager, you'll provide contract administration and commercial support across a portfolio of service contracts. You'll be responsible for maintaining contract records, coordinating contract documentation, preparing reports, supporting subcontractor performance meetings, monitoring compliance and contract performance, and contributing to strong commercial governance.

Working closely with operational teams and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll help ensure contracts are delivered efficiently, risks are well managed, and our customers continue to receive high-quality service. You'll also have the opportunity to identify process improvements, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and build your commercial expertise within a leading infrastructure business.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the administration of service contracts from mobilisation through to completion.
• Maintaining accurate contract documentation, registers and key commercial records.
• Preparing reports, meeting packs, minutes and contract correspondence.
• Assisting with contract variations, extensions, approvals and close-out activities.
• Coordinating subcontractor performance meetings and following up actions.
• Monitoring contract compliance, key milestones and reporting obligations.
• Supporting contractor performance, audits, governance activities and risk registers.
• Assisting with budget tracking, invoice administration and commercial reporting.
• Building strong working relationships across Operations, Procurement, Property, Fleet and other support teams.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working. 

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in contract administration, procurement, project support or a similar commercial support role.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• The ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining records, preparing reports and supporting contract compliance.
• Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) will be highly regarded.
• Experience within utilities, infrastructure, engineering or construction is desirable but not essential.
