Linux Engineer

NEC Australia is seeking expressions of interest for a Linux Engineer to work on-site in Melbourne for one of its customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Linux Engineer is responsible for planning and executing the upgrade, migration, and decommissioning of a fleet of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers from version 5 to version 8 to 9.x and 10.x, as well as supporting the upgrades of other Linux distributions.

Commencement Date:Asap. This is an initial 3-month initial contract with high likelihood of extension for successful candidate.Work arrangement – initially onsite (Melbourne CBD) with hybrid arrangement to be negotiated as per project requirements. Therefore, the successful candidate must be located in Melbourne.
