Your opportunity

To Implement and control Safety Management requirements, strategies and initiatives across a workplace and report progress to the Project Director and Project Management Team

Reporting to the Project Director, the Safety Manager will sit within the project team and be accountable for:

Identify key areas and develop safety training needs analysis throughout the project lifecycle in consultation with client requirements and in consultation with Human ResourcesMonitor and support the delivery of the Safety Management Plans through consideration of relevant aspects and impacts which may be influenced by the implementation of the Safety requirements for the projectLead the implementation of the Safety management system onto the ProjectDevelop, implement and monitor a Safety activity plannerDevelop and implement a subcontractor audit program

Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are

10 + years in a safety role in a construction environmentAdvanced knowledge of safety management system techniques and toolsExperience in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projectsHigh level of skill in conducting and interpreting audits and reviewsExperience in delivering training in high-risk activities such as working at heights, confined space and rescue trainingExperience in developing, analysing and reporting on complex project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformanceDetailed knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to ProjectExperience using Corporate Management Systems & Rehabilitation
