Registered Nurse - Mental Health

About the Role

Working within our Mental Health Inpatient Unit, you'll play an important role in supporting patients through their recovery journey by delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.

You'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to:

• Conduct comprehensive mental, physical and psychosocial assessments.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Provide therapeutic nursing care in a safe and supportive inpatient environment.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families and the wider healthcare team.
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, compassion and continuous improvement.

You'll be supported by an experienced Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurses, Team Leaders and Shift Leaders who are committed to helping you succeed.

About You

We're looking for nurses who are passionate about mental health and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

You will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of two years' postgraduate nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a Mental Health setting.
• Sound understanding of professional nursing standards and scope of practice.
• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making and care planning skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management abilities.
• A genuine commitment to person-centred care and recovery-focused practice.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
