Experienced Poly Welder & Dewatering Technician

Position Overview:

This role focuses on seeking an experienced and motivated Poly Welder & Dewatering Technician, to join our team. You will be responsible for safely and effectively carrying out Poly Welding, Butt fusion / Electrofusion works, dewatering duties, trenching & pipe laying. This is a FIFO role from Perth, working on a 2:2 roster, with hourly and fortnightly pay. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Butt fusion & Electrofusion on piping using Welding Equipment

• Pit Dewatering Duties

• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

• Collaborate with a productive crew on-site

Requirements for this role:

• A valid certificate in Poly Welding (Butt Weld & Electrofusion or Extrusion welding)

• Minimum of 2 years Dewatering Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience working as a Poly Welder in all aspects of butt and electrofusion welding in operator roles in relevant mine/construction sites

• Experience in using a variety of Poly Welding equipment

• Self-efficient in general earth works & welding operations

• Valid Operating Tickets

• Valid WA Driver's Licence - HR Preferable but not essential

• Valid White Card

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Previous mine site or dewatering project experience
