Junior Receptionist – Electrical Company

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per annum + superannuation

An established electrical company is seeking a friendly, organised and professional Junior Receptionist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their administration career and looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive, trades-based business.

The Role

As the first point of contact for the business, you will provide a welcoming and professional experience for customers, suppliers and contractors while supporting the wider office team with general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
• Greeting visitors, clients and contractors
• Monitoring and responding to general email enquiries
• Filing, scanning and maintaining accurate records
• Ordering stationery and managing office supplies
• Providing general administrative support to electricians and management
• Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area

About You

• Friendly, confident and professional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience is desirable but not essential

Experience within the electrical, construction or trades industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided to the right person.
