Capral, Australia's largest extruder and distributor of aluminium products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our dedicated team.

Capral is looking for an inspiring leader to take ownership of our Archerfield site, driving business performance while building a high-performing, customer-focused team. You'll lead our Customer Service, Internal Sales, External Sales and Warehouse teams, champion a strong safety culture and play a key role in the continued success of the branch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across Customer Service, Internal Sales, External Sales and Warehouse Operations.
• Foster a positive workplace culture that reflects Capral's five core values and encourages teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Champion Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) by leading from the front and ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
• Drive branch sales performance by supporting your sales team, identifying growth opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring service standards are consistently achieved.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including warehousing, inventory management, fabrication, dispatch and customer deliveries.
• Prepare and manage branch budgets, monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels, workforce planning and employee development to support business objectives.
• Monitor branch performance through KPIs, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure the branch maintains high standards of housekeeping, quality and operational excellence.

About You

You are an experienced leader who enjoys developing people, building customer relationships and creating a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven leadership experience managing customer service, sales and/or warehouse teams.
• Previous customer-facing sales experience with a strong focus on relationship building.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.
• Well-developed organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing inventory and operational performance.
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving ability.
• A genuine commitment to workplace safety and employee wellbeing.
• The flexibility to travel occasionally as required.

Desirable

• Experience within the aluminium, building products, manufacturing, metals or trade industries.
• Experience using SAP.
• Forklift licence or experience working within warehouse operations.
