Bus and Coach Driver's (Multiple positions available for immediate start)

Cairns Bus Charters is seeking experienced Bus and Coach Drivers to join our team in Cairns.

This is a permanent/part-time opportunity offering flexible hours across a wide variety of work, including:

• Airport transfers

• Corporate and conference groups

• School and sporting charters

• Private tours and transfers

You’ll operate a range of vehicles — from 10-seat luxury vehicles through to 60-seat coaches — keeping the role varied and interesting.

We work with our drivers to build flexible rosters that suit your availability where possible.

This role is well suited to experienced drivers looking for flexible or reduced hours, including semi-retired drivers wanting to stay active.

• Safely operate buses and coaches across a range of services

• Deliver high-quality customer service to passengers

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks

• Maintain trip logs and report any issues

• Follow all safety, road and company procedures

• Valid heavy vehicle licence (minimum LR, MR preferred)

• Minimum 2 years’ bus or coach driving experience

• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation

• Reliable and safety-focused

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster (including weekends and public holidays)

• Competitive hourly rates:

  • Mon–Fri: $35.18/hr

  • Saturday: $45.81/hr

  • Sunday: $61.18/hr

  • Public Holidays: $76.48/hr

• Flexible hours (3–38+ hours per week)
