How can you make an impact?

Lead our finance team and play a key role in keeping DJAARA's financial operations strong, accurate and well managed. You’ll work closely with the CFO to strengthen financial processes, support good decision-making and ensure our financial reporting and controls are fit for purpose.

What you’ll do

• Lead and support the accounting and transactional finance team
• Oversee month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes
• Ensure the integrity of reconciliations, journals and financial data
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the wider organisation
• Oversee AP, AR and payroll operations and compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Strengthen financial controls, systems and processes
• Drive continuous improvement across the finance function

What will you bring?

• CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
• Experience leading and developing a finance team
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with financial systems, ideally an ERP such as MYOB Advanced/Acumatica
• The ability to analyse financial information and provide clear, practical advice
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance people
• A collaborative leadership style, high integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement
