Are you an experienced internal sales or telesales professional who enjoys building relationships, closing sales, and delivering great customer service?

Richard Jay is one of Australia's leading suppliers of commercial laundry, warewashing and chemical dispensing solutions. For more than 55 years we've partnered with hospitals, aged care providers, hotels, mining operations, commercial laundries and government organisations across Australia.

We're growing, and we're looking for a motivated internal Sales Representative to join our Brisbane team, working closely with our external Sales Executives to manage inbound enquiries, generate new sales opportunities and support customers from first contact through to order.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and growing an assigned portfolio of customer accounts
• Responding promptly to inbound sales enquiries by phone, email and web
• Proactively contacting existing and prospective customers to generate new sales
• Preparing accurate quotes and following up to secure orders
• Cross-selling and up-selling across our laundry, warewashing and chemical range
• Supporting external Sales Executives with customer opportunities and quotations
• Keeping customer records and sales activity up to date in Microsoft Dynamics 365

What you'll bring

• Experience in internal sales, telesales, customer sales or business development
• A genuine interest in sales and building customer relationships
• Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills
• Confidence preparing quotes and following opportunities through to close
• Comfort with CRM systems - Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus
• Full Australian working rights

Experience selling commercial equipment, industrial products or technical solutions is a bonus, but not essential - we'll train the product knowledge.
