Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position
An industry-leading national workplace rehabilitation provider is seeking a motivated Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling professional to join its vibrant team in Darwin. Operating as part of a global private healthcare network, this organization supports over 20,000 people annually through tailored health and employment solutions. The role is a permanent position with an anticipated start date in mid-2026, situated within a unique workplace culture that prioritizes holistic wellness.
The Darwin office is designed to be a sanctuary for its staff, featuring a dedicated rest and recharge space with a walking pad, while the team enjoys regular sound bath meditations, breathwork sessions, corporate massages, and communal poke bowl lunches. Serving as a Rehabilitation Consultant, the successful candidate will apply their clinical expertise to a manageable caseload, supported by Rehabilitation Assistants who handle administrative tasks. Primary duties involve case management and the completion of various assessments—such as initial, workplace, and vocational reviews—to identify suitable employment opportunities for clients.
The consultant will collaborate with employers, injured workers, and medical professionals to develop injury prevention programs and implement evidence-based treatment plans. This diverse role involves working across various schemes to address psychosocial barriers and assist individuals in achieving meaningful return-to-health outcomes. Remuneration for this position is highly competitive, featuring innovative incentive and bonus schemes along with a monetary referral program for recommending new talent.
The organization is committed to long-term professional growth through a "promote from within" culture and a comprehensive onboarding program. Employees benefit from a wide array of corporate perks, including a Fitness Passport for discounted national gym access, travel perks, novated leasing, and salary packaging. Additionally, team members are encouraged to join various Diversity and Inclusion committees, such as the Pride Group or the Reconciliation Action Plan committee, and can be recognized for excellence through a dedicated star reward program.
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling and possess AHPRA registration (General or Provisional) or Full ASORC Membership. The provider warmly welcomes new graduates and offers internal supervision for Provisional Psychologists that meets full registration requirements. Essential requirements include exceptional communication skills, strong time management, and a compassionate approach to client care.
A current driver's license and access to a personal, comprehensively insured vehicle are mandatory. This is a rare chance to join a fun and multidisciplinary team in a role that values both professional impact and personal well-being. Apply
