About the role
Property Maintenance – Automotive Dealerships
Hobart Location | Full-Time Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Property Maintenance to join our team and provide general property, maintenance and presentation support across our multiple automotive dealerships throughout Hobart.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being practical, takes pride in their work and can confidently turn their hand to a range of maintenance and general handyman tasks.
About the Role
Working across our Hobart dealership sites, you will help ensure our buildings, facilities and surrounding areas are well maintained, safe and presented to a high standard.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
General repairs and maintenance across dealership sites
Basic carpentry, painting, patching and repairs
Replacing fixtures, fittings and signage
Minor plumbing and electrical maintenance where appropriately qualified
Maintaining walls, doors, gates, fences and other building fixtures
Assisting with showroom, workshop and office maintenance
General yards/grounds and external area maintenance
Moving furniture, equipment and other items as required
Identifying maintenance issues and taking action to keep our sites safe and presentable or coordinating specialist work if required
Supporting dealership teams with general property and maintenance requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Practical, reliable and self-motivated
Confident undertaking a variety of general maintenance tasks
Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
Well organised with good attention to detail
A strong communicator who is comfortable working with different dealership teams
Safety conscious and committed to maintaining high standards
Professional, approachable and willing to help wherever needed
Previous experience in a maintenance, property, facilities, building or trade-related role will be highly regarded.
A current driver's licence is essential, and relevant trade qualifications or licences will be advantageous.
