About the role
Role Type: Part time contract until end of June 2027 (22.8 hours per week)
Salary: $120,880 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Researcher Officer (Post Doctoral) to lead the expansion of the Victorian Hip Registry (VicHip) into Queensland and South Australia. Working closely with A/Prof Leo Donnan, Dr Natalie Hyde and the broader CORe research team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing new registry sites, building stakeholder relationships and supporting the successful delivery of this important grant-funded initiative.
About The Role
As the Post-Doctoral Researcher, you will coordinate the development of new VicHip sites, supporting regulatory approvals, site implementation and training activities. You will work closely with clinicians, researchers and consumer representatives to ensure the successful expansion of the registry and achievement of project milestones.
What You’ll Do
Leading the expansion of VicHip into Queensland and South AustraliaReviewing and updating registry documentation to support new sitesCoordinating ethics and governance approval processesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with site stakeholdersDelivering site training and implementation support, including interstate travelSupporting grant-funded project planning, delivery and reporting
About You
You are an accomplished researcher with strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a passion for translating research into meaningful healthcare outcomes.

A PhD or equivalent doctoral qualificationAt least 3 years' postdoctoral research experienceA strong publication record and demonstrated research impactExperience leading research projects and contributing to successful grant applicationsProven experience working across multiple sites and organisationsExperience in clinical research and project coordinationExperience mentoring and supporting research staff and students
