The Opportunity
We're growing and seeking expressions of interest for a talented Study Director to join our Immunobiology (IB) Network team based at the Royal North Shore Health Hub in St Leonards, NSW. This is a permanent, full-time position which is anticipated to commence around September/October 2026.

Our IB-Network team focus on science in new drug modalities such as cell therapies (CAR-T and CAR-NK), gene therapies and cellular/RNA modulator therapies that typically utilise Flow Cytometry assays to deliver the Pharmacokinetic (PK) data to support clinical studies.

This is a unique opportunity to lead innovative studies across immunoassay and immunobiology platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
You'll play a key role in the scientific and operational success of our regulated studies including:

• Acting as Study Director with overall responsibility for assigned studies.

• Setting, managing, and delivering study timelines in line with company and client requirements.

• Communicating effectively with external stakeholders (clients, CROs) and internal teams (operations, QA, management).

• Ensuring scientific integrity and regulatory compliance through review of study data.

• Troubleshooting scientific issues in collaboration with R&D, operations, and management

• Coordinating study progression with operations and scientific leads.

• Supporting method transfer and validation activities with R&D.

• Providing additional support to the bioanalytical team as required.

About You
We're looking for someone with:

• A degree in life sciences or related field.

• Experience in a regulated bioanalytical laboratory (essential).

• Expertise in flow cytometry and cell-based assays, including validations.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and data interpretation skills.

• Proven ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines with high accuracy.

• Ability to work independently with initiative, reliability, and professionalism.

• High ethical standards, particularly regarding confidentiality.

• Experience communicating complex scientific information to clients.

• Familiarity with LIMS/Watson (desirable).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
