The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Site Foreman - Carpenter (Building) to help deliver site operations on upcoming commercial and institutional building projects in Brisbane and surrounding SEQ areas.

This role is hands-on, and ideal for someone who leads from the front, works collaboratively, and is committed to maintaining high standards in delivery, safety, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily building site activities.

• Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site labour

• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards.

• Liaise with Project Manager, engineers, and suppliers.

• WHS compliance

• Monitor site progress, maintain records, and report daily.

• Oversee plant, materials, and logistics.

• Engage in onsite trade work where required to keep work progressing

About You

• 3+ years’ experience as a Site Foreman or Leading Hand on commercial building projects

• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

• Solid leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• White Card essential; First Aid and relevant tickets desirable

• Valid driver’s licence

·         Must have own basic tools.

·         Must be willing to perform hands-on work on site.

·         Willingness to travel to projects across Brisbane and South East QLD
