About the role

Allechante Salon is seeking a Qualified Hairdresser to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic salon environment located in Keilor Downs, VIC 3038. As a Qualified Hairdresser, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services to our valued clients, contributing to their confidence and satisfaction whilst maintaining the professional standards that Allechante Salon is known for.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a comprehensive range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments to clients

• Consulting with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences and concerns, offering expert recommendations

• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and salon cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Using professional hair products and equipment safely and effectively

• Creating welcoming and inclusive experiences for all clients, building rapport and encouraging repeat visits

• Staying current with hair trends, techniques and industry best practices

• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues

• Managing appointment schedules and communicating effectively with salon management regarding availability

What we're looking for

• Qualification with up to 3 years experience

• Strong technical skills in hair cutting, modern colouring and styling techniques

• Worked with hair extensions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships

• A professional and well-groomed appearance consistent with salon standards

• Knowledge of hair health, treatments and products

• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively, particularly in a casual role with varying hours

• A genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry and commitment to client satisfaction
