Barista | Weekdays 7am - 10.30am | Castle Hill

Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centre & Preschool is seeking a Part-Time Barista to join our Castle Hill service.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an experienced Barista who loves great coffee and enjoys welcoming families into a warm, community-focused environment. You will be responsible for operating our coffee cart during morning drop-off, helping to create a positive and welcoming start to each family’s day.

Once the coffee cart closes, there may be an opportunity to assist the kitchen team with light kitchenhand duties, depending on experience and service needs. This is an added bonus, not a requirement of the role.

Hours:
Our coffee cart runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 10:30am, with potential for additional hours supporting the kitchen depending on experience and service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages

• Providing friendly, professional customer service to families

• Maintaining cleanliness of the coffee cart and work area

• Supporting the centre’s welcoming and community-focused atmosphere

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

• A current Working with Children Check

• Barista experience and confidence operating a coffee machine

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• The ability to work independently in a busy morning environment

• Kitchenhand or food handling experience (desirable but not essential)
