Project Engineer

We're currently on the lookout for a Project Engineer to bolster our dynamic team.

This role is based in our West Leederville office; a hub of collaboration, fostering a positive company culture that values teamwork, creativity, and personal growth. Reporting to the Lead Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and delivering offshore projects:

• Client interface and collaboration;

• Assisting in the preparation of project estimate and project documentation;

• Ensuring projects are delivered within approved cost, by monitoring and controlling spend;

• Demonstrating effective leadership, mentoring graduate engineers and giving direction to engineering teams;

• Managing projects whilst offshore;

• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties, both onshore and offshore;

• Ensuring compliance with all of AME’s policies and procedures.

• An Engineering degree (Ocean/Petroleum/Mechanical);

• 1-5 years' experience in a similar role;

• Experience in managing small to medium-sized design projects;

• Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team;

• Oil and gas experience preferred;

• Offshore experience preferred;

• Experience in subsea engineering/ drilling and completions;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic;

• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety;

• Be prepared for both local and international work travel;

• Ability to pass an OEUK medical and BOSIET course.
